Refunct is a relaxing game and is best enjoyed on your own pace.
Notwithstanding due to popular demand a new update has been released to improve the speedrunning experience including a completion timer, instant restarts and more!
Speedrun
Head over to
to take part in the speedrun community. Simply record a video of your run, press the menu button during Refunct's outro to show the completion time (after completing the game at least once), upload it to Youtube or similar and submit it.
Livesplit
Advanced Windows users can use Livesplit to get a timer overlay with splits on each button press. Simply , extract it, start Livesplit executable, right-click opened window, choose Open Splits & From URL, paste
and click OK, start Refunct, go to ESC & Options & Window Mode & Switch to Windowed Fullscreen and start running. You only manually need to reset Livesplit after a completed run using a hotkey as defined in Livesplit settings.

Hey all! Refunct has just been released on Mac, Linux and SteamOS including Update 3 which improves gameplay, input, visuals, consistency and overall polish:
Added support for Metal (Mac) and OpenGL (Mac, Linux, SteamOS)
Added real-time planar water reflections
Added ocean ground
Added reticle scaling above 1080p
Added anti-aliasing setting
Added framerate limit setting
Added supersampling to resolution scale setting
Added ability to close all menus using menu button
Added moving mouse to Continue button on showing menu
Added showing logo during game load
Added cross-platform cloud save synchronization
Improved climbing smoothness in edge cases
Improved movement consistency by re-snapping all objects to grid
Improved music transitions
Improved game completion text quality

Whenever I'm feeling lonely or sad or like life ain't worth living at times, I redownload this game and spend 20 minutes playing it, the music, the platforming, everything about it makes me just feel, better.

dr Its a good game, 3 bucks, good music, good visuals, fun gameplayI'm really suprised I've never heard about this game before, as I'm generally a fan of first person platforming.While this didn't really hit the hardcore part of me like other games do, it certainly was an enjoyable experience and is well worth it for the price.The pastel colors are well used and remain vibrant even without the use of neon bright flashy graphics of many other indie games. If the developers of this game would like to continue working on the game and add new content, then I would love to give some suggestions (these arn't going to be the best descriptions)
:-Add more diffuculty-Add randomly generated worldsThat's actually about it. I would love if these were added, even in paid dlc (as long as the price is fair.)Either way, it's a good game

Was gifted the game and played it without any expectations. Was blown away by how simple, clean and fun the game was. Nice music, nice graphics and simple gameplay. I loved the puzzle elements, and gave me a very enjoyable 20 minutes. Was surprised to see later that it cost so little!

This game is incredibly simple, and that's what makes it so great. Buy this game, you won't regret it.

Very short and sweet Parkour game that creates a serene atmosphere, it also combines several platforming elements like hoisting yourself up a ledge via jump command, which is kind of a first in my oppinion. However, I wished the game wasn't as short as it is and didn't have this &gimmicky& ending as an excuse for the lack of a story. I did need less than half an hour for completion and at least with making it last longer than 2 hours people wouldn't be able to demand a refund for what is at it's core a fun and innovative experience.

A simple platform/parkour game that's surprisingly relaxing to play and very satisfying to 100%.
It's short but well worth the tiny price.I found it easier to play with a controller (don't remap the buttons like this idiot did!) and I know that despite its short length I'll be back to play it over again.A great little game.

This is a fantastic game, however short. the platforming and some of the puzzles are very good. it can also be used for stress releif because the soundtrack is funcking amazing.Gripes:The game as i mentioned earlier is extremely short, and some of the high ledges are more slippery that a bar of soap at wet 'n' wild. It can also lag like crazy when the settings are high, but that is mostly just my crappy computer.
