随着 AR 技术的出现，在游戏中学习已经成为一种普遍现象。
这是一本神奇的填色书：动画、填色页、互动游戏、可打印的填色页，以及一本家长 / 教师指导手册，组成一幅幅异想天开的图像、一个个富有想象力的故事。在这本书里，孩子们不仅能放开想象的翅膀，随着故事不断延伸，还可以成为故事的一部分，和动画人物玩耍。
Amos Alligator Arrives at the Airport 只是系列第一本，更多的字母表图书将在未来问世。
这就是 Head in the Clouds: Jack & Abby Dream of the Circus，由单身妈妈 Sarah Jackson 和 AR 大牛 Gergely Richter 共同打造的填色书，现正在 Kickstarter 上发起众筹。
他们设计的其实是一套交互式教学工具——为了激发孩子们的学习热情和能力。
起源于一个温情故事
Head in the Clouds 最初的想法来自于 Sarah Jackson 和 Gergely Richter。
Sarah 是一名单身妈妈，有三个患自闭症的孩子，她一直想找到一个能够教育三个孩子的工具。在不断地求医问药过程中得知，iPad 是教育自闭症孩子的好工具。
经过一番调查后，Sarah 发现，丰富的教育内容加上易于使用的技术，对于教育任何孩子都是有效的。而 Gergely 一直热衷于 AR/VR 技术，他们的想法一拍即合，于是有了这本 Head in the Clouds。
这是本什么样的故事书？
Head in the Clouds – Jack & Abby 是一本 36 页的儿童故事书，讲述了两个孩子关于马戏团的异想天开的梦。由于押韵能让阅读更有趣，也让孩子们更容易学习语言，全书是按照韵律编写的。加上 AR app，Head in the Clouds 就变得生动有趣了。
全书共分为 10 个梦想，每个梦想包含独立的故事、游戏和填色页，让孩子们沉浸在奇思妙想中。
Jack 和 Abby 是故事的两个小主人公，他们和其他 6 岁的小孩子一样，对世界充满了想象和问题。为了进一步探索他们想象中的世界，两个孩子坐在树屋里，分享他们的梦想。
在书中的幻想世界里，探索的第一步是马戏团。孩子们可以与马戏团的动物们玩耍，踏上奇特的马戏团探险之旅。
家长 / 教师指导手册则提供了学习扩展功能，家长可以在游戏中发现孩子的想法，理解他们的马戏团梦想。而孩子们在玩乐的同时学习新单词和词汇。
游戏怎么玩？
游戏 app 可以免费在 Google Play 或 App Store 中下载，适用于所有年龄的儿童。
打开手机 app，用摄像头对准书页，立刻就能进入动画和游戏的世界：小丑在玩杂耍，猴子在投篮，书本中的字符活了过来，就像传统的立体书那样跳到孩子们面前。
当然，孩子们还可以把 app 中的填色页打印出来，进一步发挥想象力和创造力。完成填色后，孩子们用手机摄像头把它投射到匹配的书页中，故事中的人物就是孩子们涂色的样子，是不是很赞？
一种沉浸式的学习方式
Head in the Clouds 采用了多感官的方式，从最大限度上扩展孩子们的视觉体验。把学习与涂色、玩游戏和创造力联系起来，Head in the Clouds 成为了一本独一无二的涂色书。
随着游戏、平板电脑、智能手机的不断普及，孩子们的成长越来越沉浸在技术中。在技术驱动的文化环境下，许多家庭往往面临如何让孩子们对阅读感兴趣的挑战。
研究表明，67% 的孩子在视觉效果下学习效率最高，AR 技术成为一种吸引孩子学习的有力工具。
